SoftSol is actively seeking a proven, experienced Director of Sales to join our Public Sector team. We are looking for a senior level professional with extensive experience in Federal and/or Defense contracts. This position is responsible for developing new customer opportunities via marketing and prospecting efforts in order to help to grow SoftSol’s customer and revenue base. This includes establishing both near- and long- term plans in conjunction with the management team to achieve the company's goals while creating a strong brand within the client base and focused industry markets.
- 10+ years of experience with a proven track record of direct sales experience with State and Federal clients
- Ability to develop winning sales strategies, taking into consideration key client factors, such as compelling event(s), critical success factors, stated and non-stated requirements, and the decision-making landscape.
- A customer- focused person with a can-do attitude is a must
